One of those days, your hair looks swell, but you don’t have a date…
This week I send out my SeenbyBien mailing, offering shops some good old fashion social media expertise. My phone and email exploded this morning, my website said ‘try again in 5 minutes’ and my postbox took the day off… just kidding, so I had to get out. As ‘now we sit and wait’ isn’t my thing I hopped on my bike to get serious wet, yeah ho hum Holland.
While biking through the city my eye caught a sign saying ‘shoe{diction, opening soon’, where, what, who? Sure, the door was closed and instead of sweet clicking shoes the sound of hammering filed the street, ok off now… But then something else caught my eye, a sweet painting on a window.
As working for Sukha-Amsterdam I know that words and paintings on window’s do work, so I had to see this shop.
You probably already know Rika by Designer Ulrika Lundgren, well across that one she opened Maison Rika, a feast for the eye and spine. Besides amazing goods from John Derian, funny notebooks and candles from Astier de Villatte, you are now more than welcome to sleep in her Maison.
The two story’s high building has two bedrooms each of them with enormous fluffy beds, a bathroom and with a view to die for. The rooms are in favor by the rich and famous and by people who travel the world and looking for something special to lay their heads.
When in Amsterdam please visit this shop/maison, I could live there.
