TOMS - pick one word, necessary

Yesterday I was invited to join TOMS screening of ‘For Tomorrow, The TOMS Shoes Story’.
An award winning documentary about a company which sells shoes, but not just any kind of shoes, nope, necessary shoes. Buy a pair of TOMS’ Alpargatas and TOMS gives one pair of new shoes to a child in need.
I can make this a fun 'Bien' piece, but for once I'll write you a serious story, as this cause is serious business.
Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS and the man whom Bill Clinton has called "the most interesting entrepreneur I've ever met" started his company in 2006.
After a vacation to Argentina, homeland of the Alpartagas, where he saw extreme poverty and health conditions, as well as children walking barefoot, he decided to take action. More than 40% of the world's people don't have shoes and that was something Blake couldn’t bear.
Since 2006 TOMS’ shoe dorks and dudes have already been giving away more than one million pair of new shoes to a child in need.
From today more than 250 committed people are working at TOMS headquarter in the USA and is TOMS active in over 20 countries and ‘unfortunately’ that number will increase over the next few years.
So stand up and be the change you wish to see in the world, as your purchase today guarantees a child shoes for tomorrow.

There are many things you can do for TOMS, please visit their website for more information.
